About Hooliator

     I live in the Bay Area in California. I have a double B.S. in business. I've lived in LA, Sacramento, Phoenix, Providence, and Paris, as well as variety of small towns. I speak French and German, both badly. I'm fluent in American, but don't speak English even though I understand it.

     My political views are decidedly centrist. I am a recovering globalist. I no longer believe in the current economic model and have been pondering what a future economy might look like; though admittedly the view from here is at best hazy. In any event, I do not believe that an economic model based on unending "growth" will be viable forever and may in fact have lost viability several decades ago; though the repercussions have yet to be widely felt.

     My photography centers around mobility. I prefer to work on location despite, or perhaps because of the vicissitudes that go along with it. My skill lies less in creating a moment, than in capturing the moment that is already there. I currently shoot Canon digital and use Photoshop CS3 as my primary darkroom.
